Little treasure

Hello dear ones!
I want to brag about my finds in the Cabbagetown garage sales! I love sniffing things people sell from their homes. Have a happy browsing, I hope I dont bore you with the amount of pictures!
Here in Toronto we have a wonderful sunny fall... Many smiles to you all!

Witajcie mili moi
Chciaalam sie pochwalic moimi zdobyczami kupionymi w kapuscianym miasteczku na garage sale
Uwielbiam takie  wygrzebywania ze stosow roznych rzeczy ktore ludzie wysprzedaja ze swoich domostw.Milego ogladania ,mysle,ze nie zanudze Was iloscia zdjec
W Toronto juz piekna sloneczna jesien...Duzo usmiechu sle dla Was.

I love and collect  hankies, servettes and everything thats embroidered and stitched!
Kocham i kolekcjonuje chusteczki, serwetki i wszystko co haftowane i wyszywane

More teacups for my collection! The periwinkle blue is hand painted and you can see the painted details on it! The white one is painted in silver and the red one is wonderful in the detail and colour!

Filizanki do kolekcji, mocno niebieska jest recznie malowana i ma wypukle wzory, biala jest malowana srebrem a bordowa cudna w kolorach i wzorach
Candleholder and silver jewelery box, I love these kids of things!
Swiecznik i srebrna szkatulke, kocham swieczniki tego typu
This paper holder is from 1905! It used to be attached to a clipboard. The other thing I was told was used to open cans, but I have no idea!
Z 1905 roku do trzymania papieru w zeszyscie i cos co sluzylo przykrycia puszek
The pictures on the metal  are attached to wooden blocks. The old frames are a bit worn. The silver brooch in the old box, birdie salt and pepper. I adore the collage handmade with the rooster form teh 60's. And this silver shallow platter will be perfect to hold Christmas flatbread. And as always, happy to get more vintage cookie cutters and molds!

Hello Katherine:
Some very intriguing finds you show here. Clearly you had a wonderful time at the sales!!

The teacups and saucers are very attractive and, even if not matching, look very attractive when assembled together. Always interesting to wonder who owned them and used them previously.

Co za skarby!! Ach, jak ja żałuje żę u nas nie ma wyprzedaży garażowych i tak mało jest targów staroci, przecież te rzeczy są przecudne i takie, że tak powiem "prawdziwe". Pozdrawiam:)

Lots of interesting pieces here. I love your candlestick with the books. That Griswold piece was made in Erie, PA, my hometown where I was born. My family is still there.
