spice

Hello dear ones!
Has anyone heard about toothpaste in powder form? Im sure some have and today, I'd like to share with you my own homemade. Ive been doing this for a while now and Im sure you're wondering what good does it do/ Everything! Its all natural and has no chemicals. My girls havent had a bad tooth in years and the trips to the dentist are just checkups. :)

After scrubbing down with this toothpaste I know that Im not ingesting Triclosan, which is a chemical that if in contact with chlorinated water (and that would be everyone's tap water) produces chloroform. That's right, the stuff that we see knocks people out and in prolonged contact, will kill... in your mouth! Then, we have the main ingredient in toothpastes, calcium carbonate. This is basically ground up snail shell and instead of cleaning your teeth, it scratches into the enamel creating more places for bacteria to stop and grow in. There are loads more, that are too much to mention and horribly dangerous so... why not switch?

Here's how I make mine:

1/2 cup of baking soda
A few star anise pods, ground up to a nice powder.
A few cloves, again ground up
Around 4-6 drops of tea tree oil.

I grind up my anise and cloves to a powder, now, these are strong tastes, so it depends on how much you like. Cloves are antiseptics, antimflammatory and antibacterials and they make your breath smell nice! Same with Anise, its antifungal, antimflammatory and helps kill bacteria that cause flu
(if you need a breath refreshener, just chew on a clove or anise, they BOTH do the job naturally!)
Then I add the powdered spices to the baking soda and drop in a couple of drops of tea tree oil and mix everything well. You just take a small spoon and pop some on your hand and then scrape it off with a wet toothbrush and wash away for about 3 minutes and VOILA!!!! I then take a capful of hydrogen peroxide and swoosh it in my mouth for a quick and safe way to whiten teeth and clean up the tongue! (plus any mouth sores, if present)

Do you have any interesting alternative ways of doing the job? :)

Dears, I'd like you to pray for our dear friend Sonya, from Counting my Blessings. Her whole family needs support and prayer now.

Thank you all for dropping in and leaving sweet comments!

Witam Was moi mili!
Czy ktos z Was slyszal o pascie do zebow w proszku?

pol szklanki baking sody
anyz kilka kwiatkow
kilka gozdzikow
Tea tree oil,4 krople
Anyz i gozdziki scieram w mozdziezu na proszek dodaje sode i tea tree oil ,mieszam dokladnie i wsypuje do sloiczka, niewielka ilosc wsypuje na mokra szczoteczke do zebow i myke ok 3minut ,po umyciu plukam woda utleniona kilka minut co daje mi naturalne i bezpieczne wybielanie ,zabija nieprzyjemny zapach i swietnie czysci jezyk.Gozdziki sa przeciw zapalne, bakteryjne i grzybiczne,Anyz ma te same wlasciwosci +jest naturalnym antyseptykiem.
A moze ktos z Was kochani chcial by sie podzielic swoimi naturalnymi kosmetykami, czyscidlami :)
Kochani  tak bardzo chciala bym Was prosic abyscie wspomnieli w swoich modlitwach nasza kochana kolezanke Sonie z blogu Counting My Blessing.Cala jej rodzinka potrzebuje teraz wsparcia i modlitwy,Dziekuje

Kasia, thank you! I have a friend who is 40 and just diagnoses with mouth cancer, she had none of the habits that it could be blamed on except everyday of her life she used mouth wash, they think that is the culprit. since then I have started using baking soda instead of toothpaste, now I will add a little more ingredients! Thank you!

Carol
