Hello dear ones!
This is my basket. the girls made the lamb and the cupcake. I did the rest and decorated it with Saskatoon bush and boxwood branches.
What it is in Polish tradition we do this on Saturday, started in the 17th century. A priest would walk from house to house and bless everyones food which used to be the entire breakfast. This was later downsized to a lamb (either made from butter, bread or sugar), meat, bread, salt and pepper and an egg. All this was brought to the church instead and significantly downsized to just a piece of each item which would be shared in the family before the holy breakfast, here we forgive each other all our little faults. :) This is not something that's big in Americas and I thought I would share with you. :)
W also have Smingus-Dyngus, which is Wet Monday, this goes wayyy back into Poland's history and basically, girls and boys wet each other and play pranks. :)
See you all after Easter sweet peoples! I wish you the best times and a very wet Monday!
