Brooches and oil

Hello dear ones!
After Christmas we are left with memories and already, we see Valentines decorations everywhere. And we have to wait another year for the nicest season week. Im always sort of down in the dumps after Christmas because I love it so much! My friend from Tybet always cheers me up and he suggested frankincense oil. He told me about the properties of teh oil and I thought that I should share them, in hopes this will help a few. :)

Frankincense oil, when ingested, begins to break don and attack cancer cells, it helps asthma, it is anti inflammatory, and heals ulcers and problems with the intestines. It heals skin, helps with scar tissue and even helps with breathing when youre sick!
If you use the oil as perfume, say, behind the ears or on your forehead, it is an antidepressant, changing the chemicals in your brain to not be pooped. It actually helps heal and better eyesight if you smear it around the eye area, but that takes a while.
Burnt, also as a resin, it also perks up your mood, doing the same in your brain as an oil. As an added plus, if you like that old, church-y smell, it makes your home smell wonderful!

Its beginning to be Valentine like everywhere, so I too, created a few goodies for that purpose. :) A few brooches in gentle pinks and salmons, I dont like blood reds so I substitute with pastels.

Thank you all for dropping in and leaving so many loving comments for the new year! I wish you all a fabulous week!

Witajcie ,

Olejek ten kiedy go polkniemy natychmiast zaczyna walczyc z komorkami raka,
leczy astme, jest przeciwzapalny, jedzony potrafi wyleczyc rany w brzuchu i w kiszach.Pomaga z problemami skory i ja tnujeW czasie kataru pomaga oddychac i niedroznosc nosa .

Wszedzie juz Valentynkowo to i ja zrobilam pare broszek  w delikatnych perlowych rozach i lososiowych odcieniach.
Pieknego weekendu mili ludziska Wam zycze!

U Was zawsze dużo wcześniej myśli się o nadchodzących świętach i okazjach.
Takie kobiece i romantyczne:)))

Pozdrawiam w deszczową niedzielę

Huh I never knew that about Frankincense either! I put away all the decor EXCEPT the tree yet; that'll come down this week... got to take some photos of it first!

Hope you have a wonderful relaxing week!

The brooches are all lovely, my friend. I feel the same way. I have everything packed away now and the house doesn't have all of the pretty things to see and enjoy. Seems a little bland now. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Sweet hugs!

I feel the same way..I am a bit down and my skin is very sensitive right on my left arm just above the elbow. It is making me crazy! Where do you get frankincense oil? I bet it is good for dry skin irritation. your brooches are so lovely and feminine! I am looking forward to Valentine's day as it makes me smile!

Hi Katherine,
Love this post as I know many of us can relate to the after Christmas down time. The house looks a bit empty now, but a good time to move on for Valentine's Day.
I have always known about this oil, but did not know it did so much for our well being. Thing I will get some of this soon.
Thank you for sharing my friend. Have a great week.
Hugs, CM

Katherine, I am so sorry! That was not Matt, my son who wrote! He forgot to sign out from Google on my computer, and I just went ahead and posted without checking if he signed out! Arggh! He does that all the time! So sorry, it was me, not Matt who posted.

Haha! No problem Ginny! :) I hope this will help you a bit with your sensative skin! :) If you need anything else, aloe vera is very good for sensative skin! If you buy a big aloe leaf and skin it and squeeze it and apply, it should really help! :)

Hello Katherine

I feel just like you - Advent and Christmas are my favourite seasons of the year, filled with such expectation.
Now I too feel a little down in the dumps and Valentines Day just doesn't do it for me!!!

The frankincense information is wonderful - I would love to get some too.

I'm your newest follower after seeing your gift for Marie of Lost Bird Studio.
Do pop over and say hello to me when you get time.
