Butterflies and ecoli poop =)

 Hello dear ones!
Spring is slowly approaching and I have seen lovely decor all over th blogs I visit.
Horrible laziness that grabs me in the winter, and I dont do much because I'd much rather be outside, enjoying the views, parks and streets in white shades, I love winter!!
Hopping along winter streets I do alot of window shopping and sometimes find lovely things. This is where I last found these superb vintage purses and a few lace rolls and a collar and a few other lovelies, which I'll show off in other posts to not swamp you all with pictures.
From dried grass that I soaked I made a nest, in bohemian colours that my daughter loves, a small birdie that I covered with tiny feathers and for all you spring lovers, I made a few paper butterflies. Easy peasy and they look great!

Now, for all you ladies that enjoy diet, low fat, low sugar or sugarfree drinks, foods and even gum, listen up! I'd like to tell you why you should not under any circumstances have that ever! You should always check food labels and make sure that is NOT on the ingredients list!
Why? because of artificial sweeteners, and let me get you acquainted with a few: Nutrasweet, Equal, Creatine and Canderel. What do these have in common? ASPARTAME!!!
Aspartame is literally, a poison in our food. Its created when genetically modified ecoli bacteria is fed fossil fuel oil and then, what it poops out. That poop? Aspartame! When you really think about it, that sweetener aint that sweet anymore. :) But if that was it, I wouldnt be telling you about it. Its really the side effects that are scary, not how its made. Lets look at some side effects, I wont list them all, but these are pretty much incurable. So, cancers (insert any here, but think Leukemia, to name one), alzheimer's, arthiritis, depression, seizures, brain tumors, Multiple Sclerosis, Grave's disease, bone disease, depression, etc. So you get the picture, NOT GOOD.

And on that sweet note, I leave you all to enjoy your week dear friends, and thank you for dropping in and leaving sweet, happy, comments. :)

Witam Was ludzie mili!
Pomalenku zblizja sie swieta Wielkanocne i na wielu blogach juz cudne dekoracje, wydmuszki.
Z wielkim lenistwie ktore mnie w zimie zawsze dopada  i malo mi sie chce  tworzyc,bo podziwiam swiat poza domem, parki ,ulice w bialych odcieniach.Kocham zime!
Slodziki wszystkie ,podam niektore z  nazw, nutrasweet, equal, creatine, canderel  maja wszystkie sobie ASPARTAME

Hello Kasia:
Once again you demonstrate how very creative you are not only in what you make but also in the images which you take to illustrate your work. This is a lovely collage but comes with a harsh 'message' at the end.

As it happens, we are both most careful about what we eat and certainly avoid the foods about which you warn.

Hahaha! zawsze się śmiałam,że lepiej być okrągłą i zdrową kobitką! Brrr! Żadnych chemicznych cudaków w stylu mało cukru, albo mało tłuszczu...Jak chcę schudnąć to więcej ćwiczę, tańczę i mniej jem po prostu! Ograniczam pewne rzeczy ale nie zamieniam na chemię!
Piękne te motylki, zgapiam pomysł całkowicie! A torebeczki i koronki, ach, och! U mnie nie uwidzisz takich cudownych sklepików! Ściskam Cię moja cudowna,życząc przepięknego weekendu...i nawet niech ci śnieżek pada a co mi tam! Niech Ci dobrze będzie!
Cudowności! aga

Hi Katherine,
Thank you for such an imformative post. I too am aware of all this and watch what I eat. In the stores I am a label reader and have been for years. Once in awhile, the bad foods find there way to my lips, but overall, I watch pretty close.

Love your gorgeous creations. You share a bit of springtime in a way that is so inspiring.
Have a warm weekend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Dear Katherine,
such beautiful butterflyes, and the nest is so sweet and adorable with the little bird---you also found some fabntastic laces and lovely purses, lucky you!
I have never been eating/drinking low sweet,-as I prefer the real thing if I eat some.... I DO now and then ( every day)take a piece of dark chocolate or such....
and love it....the same with low fat...never buy it- if eating mayonaise it have to be the real thing....not that I think it is better- but maybe not filled with those artificial sweeteners....I hope.
Thankyou for advises, they are not funny to read about but informative- so thank`s dear.
Hugs and a happy weekend.

The vintage handbags you found are just wonderful! And I love those cute little bird's nests. I have bad reactions to Aspertame. It really is bad for you...thanks for sharing the information! Sweet hugs!

Love your beautiful purchases - the dear little purses, laces and beading.
Love also those dear little butterflies and especially the nests.
I have a few that I have gathered here on the property.
Yes know all about that Aspartame and how it is in so much processed food and drink.
I try to avoid as much as possible from the supermarket and we grow as much as we can on our property.
Thanks for the visit!
Have a great week,
Suzy

So many interesting finds. I'll bet those little purses have seen some fun times.
I have rarely ever used anything with aspartame. I don't use much processed foods anyways.
I remember years ago I bought a Weight Watchers cookbook. I never made a single thing in it because it had chemical products in every one of them. Sweeteners, fat replacements, phony cream. Blech!! Not for me.

Love the purses - so beautiful! Also thanks for the heads up on sugar - but artificial sweeteners especially. I don't use them - cause migraines for me...but they are also nasty stuff.
Hope you have a wonderful week! We are supposed to get more snow - but today the sun is glorious! :)

It's amazing how many products have artificial sweeteners in them. One of the stores where I shop, was recently demo-ing a yogurt product. I asked the person if there was any artificial sweetener in it and she said, "no". Well, I looked at the ingredients list on the package, and there was sucralose. There are so many things in our food now it's scary. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh my gosh, your title made me laugh. Love your nest and the butterflies. I would love to try making some if I ever find the time. I do drink Diet Coke and I know that it is not good for you. Just wish it didn't taste so darn good. Trying to drink alot more water.

Katherine,
Thank you for the info. on sweeteners. I knew they weren't good for us, but didn't realize half of this. Your butterflies are so pretty, and they are waiting for spring. Hope you are having a happy week.
